You may have made great progress in your career, but you may feel that you have not quite achieved what you really wanted.
Or you may doubt yourself. Fear is usually the most difficult of obstacles to overcome.
You may be a mother – as I am! – and this has added a huge factor into the mix. You are ambitious but you don’t want to compromise on your own values as a mother. Sometimes you wonder if you’re asking for the impossible!
You know that you want a “life less ordinary”. A life lived purposefully, not accidentally.
You’re bright enough to figure out what steps to take. But there seem to be so many steps and even more obstacles in between you and your goal. And you’re so busy getting on with the day-to-day demands of life. It’s easy to put off the big dream ’til tomorrow. And of course, tomorrow never comes.
But what happens if, a year from now, you find that you are in exactly the same place? What if nothing changes? What if you carry on doing the same old thing? You know this, but I’ll say it anyway. Nothing changes without you first setting your intention and then taking action.
Deep down I know that I want to make changes and that these changes will enhance my life, but I am scared to make them in case they turn out to be a massive flop and cause me more stress. I want to go it alone, but some of my family and friends say I’m nuts. They can’t believe I want to leave my “ideal job”. I need someone to point me in the right direction and support me objectively so that I have the courage to follow my dream and ignore all the doubters and naysayers.
I don’t feel like I’ve been achieved what I really wanted in my career, despite having worked really hard. My salary peaked when I was working full time before I left to have my son. Since then, I have reduced my hours and my income has reduced by more than the pro rated amount. I am disappointed that I haven’t done better.
I sometimes wonder what it is that I actually excel at. I keep thinking that I’m 42 and don’t seem to be very good at much. I seem to be less confident about my abilities now than ever before. What’s going on? How did this happen? I want to be a more confident version of me.
Since having kids and since moving sideways at work, I seem to have lost some of my confidence to drive my actions. Why do I keep avoiding the things I KNOW I should be doing that will help me achieve my goals? I need someone to make sure I do it and help me to get into good habits instead!
I’ve achieved a good deal of success, but inside I’m still quaking in my boots! I have all these insecurities that I’m not good enough. I know I need to stop the negativity and thinking “I can’t”. I need to stop worrying about what other people think and stop thinking about situations and conversations over in my head. I need to stop questioning myself.
If any of these scenarios are similar to yours, chances are I can help you
Imagine a relationship with someone who can have “expert conversations” with you so that they can get you to unleash your potential, really and truly believe in yourself and create a catalyst for change.
Imagine having someone who is as committed to your dreams as you are, who stays focused on your big picture even when you can’t, who cuts through the cr*p, always tells you the truth about your strengths and weaknesses from an unbiased perspective; someone who celebrates your victories and helps you learn from your setbacks.
That someone is me! My job as your Coach is to be the person who accelerates positive change in your life.
Coaching is an enormously powerful, collaborative relationship designed to support you in achieving your personal and professional goals to help you meet your need for more. Coaching creates an environment where you focus your daily actions on the most important issues in your life, breaking down barriers to success and enhancing life skills.
Like a top Athletic Coach, a Professional Coach’s role is to challenge you to be better tomorrow than you are today, to provide you with the expertise needed to reach your goals, and to hold you accountable for achieving the results you said you wanted! Serious athletes depend on a coach to maximize their success in whatever sport they engage in; likewise, a good coach can help you maximize your success, no matter what activity you choose to undertake or what challenges you’re facing.
Part of our journey is discovering and acknowledging who you REALLY are. While this may not be the initial goal or intention of a client when they first enter this world of coaching, it often becomes one of the most powerful aspects of coaching. It becomes a matter of determining how your world should be based on your internal world, as opposed to the external “shoulds”. This discovery allows you to live congruently with who you really are, and is reflective in your entire way of being.
In coaching, we look for gaps – where you are today and where you want to be. As partners, we work to help you create a vibrant and strong intention that will move you forward. Once you identify what you want and believe it to be in alignment with who you really are, we strategise in order to get you there. My job is to coach you to identify and create resources along the path, whilst assisting you in overcoming challenges along the way.
What I bring to coaching you is the ability to look at things in an objective, focused way. There is not much that I will “step over”, and I’ll insist that you do the very best for yourself. As your coach, my priority is to provide you with a safe, supported environment so that you can play, explore, and then make real changes in every aspect of your life and career.
I am immensely practical, very positive and forward thinking. I believe that we learn best when we learn in light-hearted environment, and it is important that our coaching sessions produce tangible as well as intangible results, but not at the expense of enjoying the coaching process. Expect humour as well as focus during your coaching sessions with me. Whilst we will be doing some “serious work” together, we will NOT be taking ourselves seriously!
I work with my clients in a coaching relationship that typically lasts for 3 to 12 months. In that time I’ll work with you in a very hands-on way, giving you the information, strategies, techniques, and coaching that will enable you to move forward successfully with your goals.
You’ll get clarity, direction and focus so that you can move forward with confidence. I will provide you with appropriate resources that will enable you to continue to build on the work we do together beyond our coaching relationship.
In our work together we’ll start by getting very clear on what you really want, not what you think you should want. We’ll define “success” on your terms. Importantly, we’ll get you clear on your key values. This is essential groundwork, as your values will give you the strength and determination to stick to your path when others are trying to lure you onto the path THEY think you should take! As we continue our work together, your confidence and your courage will grow. These are probably the 2 most important qualities I want you to keep forever!

For me, coaching is such an important and effective engagement that the “chemistry” between coach and coachee has to work. Coaching with me is also an investment of your time, energy and money and I want you to to be more than comfortable about “what” you are investing in – I want you to be excited and raring to make impactful changes in your life, career or business.
For this reason, I never take on a client unless I am sure that I can work with you wholeheartedly.
A Chemistry Call is a phone call or Skype call where we spend about an hour talking about YOU and your dreams and goals. I offer chemistry calls free of charge to people who are seriously interested in having me help them achieve their biggest goals. I want us both to be clear about the outcomes of us working together.
I want you to come off your Chemistry Call feeling enthusiastic and excited about getting started. If you don’t, then either coaching isn’t for you right now, or you haven’t found the right coach! I refer coachees on to a trusted associate or colleague if I feel that we are not a compatible match.
You will come out of the chemistry call with a mini 2-5 point action plan to take you forward.
Please complete the application form below completely and in as much detail as you wish.
I’ll get back to you within one business day to let you know if I think there’s a fit or not and then set up a complimentary 60 minute Chemistry call.
The focus of our time will be YOU, not me. Whilst I can tell you about how we might work together, my qualifications etc. you can read this in detail throughout this website. However, please write down any questions you have in addition and I will answer them during our call.
By the way, as soon as you fill out the application form for a chemistry call, you’ll be sent to a page where I’ll give you the pricing for my personal coaching package.
Thanks for filling out the form. As soon as I get it I’ll let you know if I think we’d be a good fit and I’ll contact you to set up the Chemistry Call.
