You're not done. But you are tired of holding it all up on your own.
Now what?
Hi, I’m Amanda. Twenty-four years as an executive coach and facilitator, working with senior leaders in complex, high-pressure environments. Today that experience shows up in two ways: coaching leaders and teams through pressure and change, and helping midlife women get unstuck and work out what they want for the second half.

You're in the second half of life. Now what?

Where I'm at now
I spent the first ten years of my career in project and programme delivery at ICL and Unisys, running international projects with an MSc in Computation behind me, and I was very often the only woman in the technical conversation. I put a lot of energy into making sure nobody could catch me out.
The twenty-four years since have been coaching and facilitation, for organisations including Pfizer, Takeda, Nationwide, VMware, Paramount, the BBC, the NHS and the London School of Economics.

What I have learned is that this is not a confidence problem, whatever the development plan says. Confidence is not the thing that is missing. What is happening is that a strategy which worked for twenty years has hit its ceiling, and nobody warns you when that happens because from the outside it looks like you are doing fine.
My work is about getting you onto a different strategy before the second half of your career gets spent on the old one.

Professional Certified Coach with the ICF. MSc Computation, UMIST. BA Double Honours in Modern Languages, University of Manchester. Multi-award-winning, and once named one of the country's top life coaches by the Daily Mail, which I mainly bring up because there’s a funny story behind it (and you can ask me when we meet).
Staying location independent matters enormously to me. My own dream is a month in Australia every year where my eldest son and my brother and his family live, and time as a digital nomad with my husband and the dogs in a camper van. We're playing with relocating to Anglesey, Portugal or Thailand in a few years, but I know that the joy of a rich life is that you can't see round corners.
I live in a village on the sandstone trail in Cheshire with my husband John, youngest son Freddie and our two dogs. My oldest son lives in Australia and I miss him like crazy. I run WILDER, a free monthly coaching walk for women in midlifeas I see how much woman are carrying in their every day lives. I love being outdoors, good food, good wine and good friends. I am a qualified outdoor fitness instructor who enters Hyrox and other silly fitness and obstacle course races. I always pack a swimming cozzy in my rucksack when hiking just in case there’s an opportunity to get into a body of cold water.
My Approach
I blend deep listening, practical leadership tools, neuroscience, and honest conversation. No fluff - just real support to help you gain clarity, rebuild your energy, set strong boundaries, and make courageous choices for this next chapter of life.
Whether it’s through a free Wilder Walk, The Wilder Middle Substack, The Wilder Collective membership, or 1:1 coaching, my goal is the same: to help you move from “What do I want?” to “This is what I’m choosing.”
