Amanda Alexander PCC (ICF) Professional CoachAmanda Alexander is a charismatic and insightful Professional Certified Coach with a global reputation focused on developing emotional intelligent and resilient leaders, optimising performance and developing sustainable and fulfilling work-life integration.

She is a highly experienced Coach of over 13 years and has trained with many of the World’s most highly-respected Coaches and Coach Training Schools.

Amanda’s particular interest as a Coach is in developing success intelligence, self-belief and courage in talented female professionals. She is on a mission to help brilliant women to get out of their own way and get on with it!

Amanda has won several awards for her professional coaching, including the UK ‘Coach/Mentor of the Year’ award in 2012.

She is much sought after as an expert by the press. She has featured in broadsheets such as The Times, The Sunday Telegraph and The Independent and has been hailed as one of the UK’s Top Life Coaches by the Daily Mail.  Amanda is a blogger for the Huffington Post and is on the panel of Sage Small Business Experts.

Prior to her coaching career, Amanda was previously an APM-accredited Project Manager with extensive experience in project planning and control, subcontractor management and risk management. She led global IT change projects for Fujitsu ICL (formerly ICL) and Unisys Corporation.  Her work included a two-year overseas posting in Zimbabwe.

Amanda is educated to Masters Degree level in Computation, with a Double Honours B.A. in Modern Languages, both from the University of Manchester. She is still reasonably (!) fluent in French and has a working knowledge of Spanish.  Her C++ programming skills are, despite her Masters degree, non-existent.

She is accredited with the ICF as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), one of very few coaches worldwide to have achieved this level.

Amanda’s training as a Coach has been extensive and continuous. She originally trained with a prominent UK Coach training school, but, disappointed with their ethics and a superficial approach to coaching, she invested again to gain a more thorough training. She chose CoachU, an American Coach Training School and the long-standingest Coach Training School in the World. Amanda graduated with CoachU many years ago but is a lifelong student with the school.

Amanda is a Certified Success Intelligence Coach, having trained with Dr. Robert Holden. She is also a Certified Belief Change Practitioner with the French-Burgesss Belief Gates System.

Amanda is one of only about 20 coaches in the World to have trained personally with Mandy Evans, the highly regarded originator of Breakout Coaching. Mandy specialises in helping people to break out from limiting beliefs and Amanda has trained alongside her using the “Emotional Options” methodology.

Amanda has worked with hundreds of individuals and organisations across multiple jurisdictions and industry sectors including: Allianz, Sage, Bank of Scotland, BT, LinkedIn, Urenco (BNFL), L’Oreal, Bank of America, Chester University and the BBC.  You can see a client list here.

As a speaker and facilitator, Amanda is most-often described as “inspirational, real and engaging”. During Amanda’s keynotes and workshops, you can expect a warm, practical, no fluff and down to earth approach, with a liberal sprinkling of lightness and humour!

Amanda is mother to two proud-making boys and a labradoodle called Ernie. All 3 “boys” keep her busy, fit and remind her on a daily basis of the importance of living with joy and curiosity. Although it hardly needs to be said, Amanda knows first-hand the complexities of developing a demanding career and then business with the desire to be a great parent to her children!
